How and where can I install Thermocill™?
Thermocill™ is suitable for both newbuild and retrofit household projects.
Retrofit is an easy, straight-forward process and the device is particularly suited to social housing energy efficiency improvement schemes.
The device can be installed directly on top of the existing window board, and once fitted can be covered using a 8-10 mm recycled capping board (hockey stick or angled type depending on the shape of the existing internal window board), and sealed ready for use.
How much does Thermocill cost?
Thermocill costs less than £300 per box which contains 7.5 meters of product 50 modular units, enough for the average 3 bedroom house (based on four windows)

What tools do I need to install Thermocill?
A multitool is best to install Thermocill, this allows you to cut out the old window board neatly, a silicone gun to seal around the window on completion, a fine toothed saw to cut Thermocill or use the Multitool with a cutting blade plastic type materials. Thermocill is planning to offer installation services from Autumn 2021 too.
How difficult is it?
Any handyman can install Thermocill, it’s easy cut/click/seal watch the installation video.
Does Thermocill look all right?
You will only see the outlet vent which is adjacent the Window frame, if you crouch down and look up under the window board you may see the inlet vent yet only part of it, but it is very discreet.
What is Thermocill made of exactly?
Thermocill is made from 100% recycled Nylon, items such as umbrellas, clothing, carpet waste, rope, seat belts sleeping bags, all of these products and more are bad for landfill as they degrade very very slowly or not at all, they contain petrochemicals which harm our oceans, fish & sea life.
I am a renter. My owner doesn’t want to install Thermocill. How do I convince him/her?

Only a quick clean of the outlet vent is recommended if it gets dusty, but Thermocill needs no maintenance it has no moving parts, no power supplies it’s a passive device.
